The candlelight vigil for Almond Glen’s own Jalen Allen will be held tonight at the Almond Glen Pool Parking Lot at 8pm. The pool will remain open as usual until dusk however parking will be a little scarce. We will leave a few spots open for swimmers (it’s not usually busy on a Wednesday evening so hopefully this doesn’t cause too much of an inconvenience). Please feel free to stop by anytime after 8:00 if you wish to pay your respects and light up the Glen. Parking will also affect Caprington traffic from about 7:30-9:00’ish. We will do our best to keep an open route up and down Caprington and we appreciate your patience with us. Genie and DJ have asked for nothing but your well wishes and prayers at this time and the outpouring of support from the community has been amazing. Appreciate everyone for lending a hand today and for showing the Allen’s that they are more than neighbors, they are family! Again, we appreciate your patience.
