This might be a little “Tongue-in-cheek”, but I wanted to bring everyone’s attention to the upcoming dues. I see A LOT of $20.00 late fees assessed against folks, and though its nice to have a little extra money to pay for expenses that pop up… I hate taking more of your hard earned money.
Anyone who doesn’t have their payment credited to their account by Oct 1, 2016 at 12:01 AM will be assessed a late fee of at least $20.00. If you already owe $20 in unpaid fees (there are a lot of you) then a payment of just the currently owed dues will result in yet another $20.00 late fee. (Yes, you get charged a late fee for not paying your late fee). It is possible to reach a threshold where your built up late fees alone will trigger a letter from the HOA attorneys and a foreclosure of your home. At the very least this can damage your credit.
Please help me help you. Get those payments in BEFORE the last minute. Currently we have over $13,000 in unpaid dues which need to be collected. Some of those payments are as little as 50 cents. That unpaid 50 cents WILL trigger a $20 late fee! Get your accounts zeroed out today.
