Welcome to the “Village of Almond Glen”
Hello neighbors, and welcome to the “Village of Almond Glen”. Why are we referring to our neighborhood as a “village”? Well, a village is smaller than a city or town, and we can’t really think of ourselves as a town. Aside from the obvious size of our community, why again would we refer to ourselves as anything more than a neighborhood? Lets examine what villages, towns and cities have in common with our community.
Villages have community members who rely on each other. Villages have shared resources. Villages have elected officials. Villages have taxes. We have our neighbors to help us, Common areas and the pool, the HOA board members, and our HOA dues.
On July 23, 2013 many of your fellow community members gathered at the 2013 Annual HOA Meeting and elected five of us to manage the resources and needs of this small community.
We take that responsibility very seriously and want you to know that we are working hard for you. Please take a few minutes to read through this newsletter and find out more about how we are working with our neighbors to form committees, move projects along, manage the HOA budget and make our neighborhood a village.
